Zeekit Raises $9M in Recent Seed Round
The idea behind Zeekit stems in a very common scenario: while browsing an online shop, we are required to estimate what our size is, compare the item’s picture with our figure and dispense with the comfort of knowing how it would look on us before we fork out our hard-earned money. This utter uncertainty can cause us to decide to do away with the whole practice. Zeekit deals with this situation in an app that enables us to go into our own virtual fitting room, see what item flatters us and whether it works well with other items on our shopping list – all within the comfort of your home. Just this past week, in New York Fashion Week, Zeekit was used to allow online and live audiences to pick from the clothes shown on the models, try them on, share and even purchase them.
This current funding round raked in 9 million Dollars, and includes funding from a number of angel investors from both the Iraeli tech industry and the American media and lifestyle industries.
